Research and Interests

The overarching goal of my research is maintaining and improving the health of individuals through physical activity and community. My research interests are using state-of-the-art methodology (i.e. instruments, statistics) to assess the physical functioning and physical activity levels of individuals at various stages of life, as well as understanding the impact one’s social network has on their health. I am also interested in understanding how sociocultural values intersect with health behaviors through a mixed-method approach.
