Research and Interests
My research focuses on critical public health, LGBTQ+ health disparities, and HIV/STI prevention, with a particular emphasis on sexual and gender diverse populations in digital spaces. Using qualitative approaches, I examine sexualized drug use, harm reduction, and "counterpublic health" frameworks to understand how marginalized communities navigate stigma and exercise moral agency. Ultimately, my work seeks to challenge dominant health narratives, center social connection as a form of resilience, and inform culturally relevant, community-led interventions.
