Research and Interests

My research examines the impact of social and environmental factors on the health of older adults. For instance, my work has explored how depressive symptoms influence the risk of stroke and how education and different sources of pollution relate to cognitive function and dementia. Other areas of research interest include immigrant health, occupational health, and community-based participatory research.
